Duckeye And Chebri, Sittin’ In A Tree
Posted by: Marlenus, in Name And Shame, Notable SmacktalkA long time ago, in the time of The Great INDY War, I had a random war dec from a guy named Duckeye who never showed up. It was right after the INDY alliance called off AC-ME’s dog Chebri, and there were anonymous commenters in this post who suggested a Duckeye / Chebri connection, but it was never confirmed.
I did later confirm that Duckeye is a shared account, because I station camped him for awhile during factional warfare (he was flying for the Gallente scum) and we had a cordial chat during which he utterly failed to remember ever having declared war on Ironfleet, blaming his “little brother” who “played the account for a couple of weeks”. Yeah, that’s pretty obvious nonsense, but it’s the sort of nonsense you’ll get from account sharers who don’t want to be too open about it.
Anyway, about ten days ago the Duckeye / Chebri connection was confirmed in a fairly humorous way. Duckeye apparently got drunk and started inviting everybody in his address book into the “Duckeye’s Bathtub” chat channel; and *surprise* Chebri was there and acting like a resident of the channel. There was mass confusion as a great many people wanted to know “why am I here” so I was in the channel for almost twenty minutes, until Duckeye finally remembered who I was and kick/banned me. Here are a few of the funnier bits, it’s a very long chat file so these are highly condensed highlights. The first snip is for flavor and show the Duckeye/Chebri connection — they sound like friends or closer, but probably not the same person I’d say:

And right there I got kicked and banned. I think that last “ah shit” from Duckeye is probably when he finally realized who he’d invited. Aw, Duckeye, I didn’t know you still cared!
P.S. Remember AC-ME, Chebri’s former corp in INDY? It still exists and it’s still an alliance member, but there’s only one person left in the corporation.

Was running around Jita and such inviting everyone in local that I could, I was bored…
Only reason why I wardecced you was because it only cost a small amount isk, I threw your corp in with about 3 other corps that I wardecced as a group, alas this did not get me into Chebri’s pants since the larger fish moved to the opposite side of safesec upon war declaration.
I don’t know AC-ME or even know what it stands for, I’m not Wile E. Coyote, only person I know is Chebri.
I like how this wasn’t even really negative though, I’d be happy to let you continue doing what your doing so you can be my own little private advertisment board… then again you have a total of 5 comments that arn’t either you or me in close to the period of a month so, eh… I’ll flip a coin or something.

LOL! I was in that AC-ME corp back when I still played! Good times, you know you were infamous back then, probably still are if your blog is anything to judge by. If I ever play again I think I’ll be a salvager, mining is way too damn boring.

I didn’t see you death, if I had I would of definately brought you to the fun because I basically invited everyone from indy chat.
I like the bull he talks about near the beginning though, because the only time I ever played with faction warfare was when the devs were testing it on singularity half a year ago, thats when I shot CCP Greyscale when he was in his ragnarok… hell my gallente standing is under -2.00, and thats all crap from a year and a half ago when I did missions for Caldari Navy as a mainstay like your everyday Joe, couldn’t participate in Gallente FW even if I wanted to.
I don’t even have a little brother, and I definately don’t talk in local when I decide not to undock because I just minimize eve and boot up another game, it’s fun to waste the campers time instead because they sit outside like retards.
But like I said, nothin but love. He sure tries hard, I’ll give him that.
